Diwali – festival of lights is the biggest and most important holiday not only in India, but in Kyrgyzstan as well for our students, which coincides with harvest and new year celebrations. 

This is a festival of new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.

Over the years, Diwali has become a festival that is enjoyed by our community, including delicious food, fireworks, colored sand, special candles and lamps. It is a time for visiting each other, exchanging gifts and wearing beautiful clothes.

Celebration of festival of lights was organized by the international student network - Tunduk in collaboration with the administration of the International Higher School of Medicine on October 24th, 2022.
