Peshawar terrorist attack day at the IHSM
The International Student Network – Tunduk (ISN – Tunduk) hosted an event remembering Peshawar school massacre, terrorist attack at the main campus of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM).
Peshawar school massacre, terrorist attack in which seven heavily armed Taliban fighters stormed an army-run primary and secondary school in Peshawar, Pakistan, on December 16, 2014, killing 150 people, of whom at least 134 were students.
Objective of the event:
- To remember, recognize and honor the victims of terrorism;
- To raise awareness about post traumatic stress disorder amongst survivors, especially among children and the efforts required to address the long term effects;
- To highlight the Importance of Humanitarian Aid;
- To promote the role of medical personal .
