Cardiovascular symposium in Berlin, Germany

Dr. Syed Azfar Hossain, MD, DFD, Cardiologist, and Doctor of Functional Diagnostics at the Department of Introduction to Internal Medicine and Family Medicine of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), participated in the second symposium “Future Perspectives in Cardiovascular Medicine” on June 7-8, 2024, Berlin, Germany. This esteemed event was organized in collaboration with the Deutsche Herzzentrum der Charité. 

 Cardiology and cardiovascular medicine have seen rapid advancements in recent years, making them some of the most dynamic fields in healthcare. Despite these advancements, the disciplines face emerging challenges and evolving issues. 

 In addition to these core topics, the symposium featured two off-topic lectures addressing contemporary and debated issues, which sparked lively discussions among the attendees. The organizers expressed their gratitude for the outstanding international faculty who contributed to the event, ensuring a comprehensive review of cardiovascular medicine that promises to benefit all participants.

 Dr. Hossain’s participation highlights his commitment to staying at the forefront of cardiology, bringing back valuable insights and knowledge to his practice and students at IHSM.
