The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov, Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynbek Maksutov, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Rasul Abazbek uulu, vice-rectors of higher educational institutions, including vice-rector for international  affairs of the IHSM, Ph.D (Law) – Ainazik M. Omurzakova.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov emphasized the great role of higher education institutions in improving work with youth and called on representatives of higher education institutions participating in the meeting to work effectively.

At the event, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Soyuzbek Nadyrbekov made a presentation on ongoing work in the field of youth policy and upcoming events within the framework of the State Platform "Kelechek" (Future).

After that, the meeting turned into a discussion format, and vice-rectors of higher educational institutions gave information about the work carried out in the field of youth policy in educational institutions.

Also, the participants of the event spoke in detail about the work of the coordinating council created for the development of youth policy in the country, and discussed the action plan to be implemented together.

The Ministry is grateful to the United Nations Population Fund and UNICEF for their assistance in the successful implementation of the coordinating council and for their great assistance in the development of youth policy.

It should be noted that the first meeting on youth policy among higher education institutions was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Education and Science.
