The Day of India as part of the Silk Road exhibition was held in the G.Aytiev Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts on April 21, 2019.

Rector of ISM Mr. Akhunbaev S.M., Director of “ISM Edutech”  Dr. Sonal Potu, and Project Manager of “Roza Otunbayeva Initiative” international public foundation Ms. Roza Kayikova made their welcoming speeches at the opening ceremony.

The event included a demo of the “Mystic India” documentary and a cartoon based on the epos of “Ramayana”. Exhibition visitors had the opportunity to taste Indian cuisine dishes, know more of traditional games chaturanga and lila, national clothes, dances, yoga, Mehendi and rangoli culture. Indian Tea and Food Fair were also offered to the pleasure of the guests.

Representatives of the different embassies in the Kyrgyz Republic: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, China, India, Iran, Turkey, Mongolia, Japan, South Korea, Pakistan attended the exhibition.
