Forum of Public Health and Emergency Workforce in China
On November 5th, 2024, representatives from the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) took part in the Public Health Interprofessional Leadership Association’s (PHILA) II Forum at Zhejiang University, one of China’s oldest and most prestigious universities, ranked among the Ivy League of Chinese institutions and currently holding 44th place in the QS World University Rankings. Zhejiang University, located in Hangzhou, is widely recognized for its excellence and influence in global education and research.
The IHSM delegation included Dr. Kenesh O. Dzhusupov, Head of the Public Health Department, Dr. Artur I. Buiuklianov, Lecturer in Public Health; and Marina N. Yarina, Head of IHSM’s HR Department. Dr. Dzhusupov delivered a presentation titled “National Public Health Workforce and Education in Kyrgyzstan,” highlighting the development of public health education and the strategic approaches for building a skilled health workforce in Kyrgyzstan.
The PHILA Forum serves as a platform for international exchange on public health education and workforce development, fostering collaboration among educational leaders and experts worldwide. IHSM’s participation emphasizes its commitment to advancing medical education standards and strengthening global partnerships.
