From September 19 to 21, 2024, the International DAAD Alumni Forum was held in Issyk-Kul to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Kyrgyz DAAD Alumni Association. The forum, titled “Integration into the International Educational Space – An Instrument for Overcoming Global Challenges in the Face of Climate Change,” brought together esteemed speakers and participants.

The event opened with welcoming addresses by C. Zelenty, Deputy Ambassador of Germany to Kyrgyzstan, O. Tekebaev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany (online), and several DAAD representatives. Key figures included K. Franke, Head of the DAAD Capital Office in Berlin, and Dr. Ch. Guksch, the first DAAD lecturer in Kyrgyzstan. 

Workshops focused on critical global challenges, including "Strategic Priorities of Health Education in Climate Change," where Marina K. Duishenkulova, a lecturer from the Public Health Department of IHSM, presented a report. Other workshops, such as "Green Innovation: The Path to a Sustainable Future," explored sustainable solutions and the role of international educational integration in addressing climate change.
