RULES DURING THE QUARANTINE STARTING FROM 11th MAY 2020
At 00:00 on May 11 the state of emergency in some localities of Kyrgyzstan expires. In the cities of Bishkek, Osh, At-Bashy district of Naryn region and Chatkal district of Jalal-Abad region quarantine is introduced.
First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov spoke about the changes.
What is changing?
The curfew is canceled. The restrictions will remain with sanitary and epidemiological requirements. In these localities the quarantine posts will be installed.
Will be there a permit pass?
No. Permit pass was issued by the commandant’s office; it expires at 00:00 on May 11th.
Who can move around the city?
Employees of organizations whose activities are permitted.
How to pass a quarantine post?
Special rules have been developed. The citizen must have a certificate from the place of work with a seal from the tax authority.
How to work in a new conditions?
If possible, it is better to work remotely from home. It is advised to reduce the number of employees in the office, and maintaining a safe distance.
Resumed economic facilities must comply with all sanitary standards.
Will trolleybuses and buses start to run?
No, public transport will not work.
So far, only taxi is allowed.
Why is quarantine introduced in these localities?
According to experts and specialists, there is a high risk of infection.
Is it possible to travel from one area to another?
No. Travel between regions is still limited.
Is it possible to travel in a personal car?
Yes, but only if it is necessary or for work reason.
Is it possible to gather people for iftar? Are mass events allowed?
No. Mass events are prohibited. Iftar can be fined.
Who regulates everything under quarantine?
Local government. In Bishkek, this is the city hall of the capital.
