The seminar titled “Financial Autonomy of Kyrgyz Universities: Implementation Mechanisms” was successfully conducted under the DEFA project at the Kyrgyz State Technological University named after I. Razzakov. The event aimed to develop a flexible and effective model of financial autonomy for universities, enabling institutions to mobilize, manage, and efficiently use resources to meet the evolving needs of society and the market. 

The seminar provided a platform to introduce and discuss the mechanisms for achieving financial autonomy in Kyrgyzstan’s universities. Key representatives from various institutions participated, including the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM). Notably, Ainazik M. Omurzakobva, Ph.D. (Law), Vice-Rector for International Affairs, and Makhabat K. Karagulova, Ph.D. (Philology), Associate Professor and Head of the International Affairs Department, represented IHSM at the event.
