The International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), represented by Rector Stalbek M. Akhunbaev, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, the State Language and Language Policy Orozaly J. Uzakov, and Specialist for Research and Analytical Department Tugolbai D. Tagaev, actively participated in the “Medical Science and Technology International Collaboration Conference.” This prominent event, focused on the advancement of medical equipment, gathered distinguished representatives from leading organizations in the field. 

 A highlight of the conference was the induction of Rector Akhunbaev and Vice-Rector Uzakov into the academic expert council of the Lin-gang Medical Device Innovation Center (LGMDIC). Their inclusion in this prestigious council marks a significant recognition of IHSM’s contributions to medical science and education.

 In a further step to strengthen international collaboration, IHSM and LGMDIC formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation. This agreement, signed on June 22, 2024, aims to foster joint research initiatives, development projects, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the two institutions. 

The conference also served as a platform for IHSM representatives to engage with leading developers of medical equipment, paving the way for future innovations and collaborations that promise to enhance the quality and accessibility of healthcare technologies. 

 This participation and the subsequent partnership underscore IHSM’s commitment to advancing medical education and research on a global scale, positioning the institution at the forefront of medical innovation.
