In order to maintain the wellbeing of the students during the quarantine, the administration of International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) have been taking the following measures of social support for students in connection with the situation on coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan:

1. Sanitization of dormitories with disinfectants are carried out regularly,

2. Students and staff in dormitories are provided with medical masks and antiseptics,

3. On-call doctors at the University Hospital “Vedanta” work 24/7 in the observational department to provide first aid to students,

4. Students and Faculty Members are provided with the SIM-cards connected with Internet for communication,

5. Department for International Affairs delivers passports to students, so they can go outside during the day time in order to purchase food and necessary drugs in pharmacies, furthermore, it constantly conducts outreach to students on social pages such as Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp groups on:

- recommendations for the prevention of COVID-19,

- updated rules introduced by the government of the Kyrgyz Republic during state emergency,

- links of webinars and online courses for students and faculty members

6. International Cooperation Center collaborates the students in refilling the sim-cards to be connected to the Internet and attend the online classes; moreover, it provides assistance in the delivering the food,

7. Partners of IHSM - ISM EDUTECH PVT LTD and Educational Advisor PVT LTD partners constantly provide the students with food and hygiene products, furthermore, the strategy on repatriation of the students is carried on.
