Members of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) participated in the International Marathon on 10th October 2021,  the massive running marathon MBULAK KUZ DEMI 2021. 

The annual running event gathers several thousand people not only from Kyrgyzstan but from more than 30 countries around the world. 

The marathon distances were:

- 5 km

-  10 km

- 21.1 km

- 42.2 km.

The goal of the international marathon "MBulak Kuz Demi" is to popularize an active lifestyle among as many people as possible. Thus, the following representatives of the IHSM run the marathon:

- Ainazik Omurzakova – Vicе-Rector for International Affairs of the IHSM (5 km)

- Zarema Kolkombaeva – Head of the International Affairs Department ( 5 km)

- Zhamila Bekten – Head of the Alumni and Marketing Sector (5 km)

- Timurlan Saitov – HR Department (5 km)

- Taalai Tyrgotov - Department of the Surgical Disciplines (5 km)

- Shirin Bakirova – Department of the Fundamental Disciplines (10 km)

- Erkaiym Murzalieva – Department of Cardiac Surgery (10 km)

- Meerim Turdubekova - Department of the Fundamental Disciplines (10km)

- Selvaraju Arun - student of the IHSM (21,1 km)
