The III Forum of Vice-Rectors on the State Language was held on the topic “Issues of the development of the state language in higher educational institutions.”

        The III Forum of Vice-Rectors on the State Language, focusing on the development of the state language in higher educational institutions, took place on January 18, 2024, at Osh State University. The forum was inaugurated by the Chairman of the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Osmonaliev Kanybek Osmonalievich.

       The forum was attended by experts from the Department of Monitoring and Analysis of Reforms of the Department of Political and Economic Research of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zhanuzakova Kyyal Bayyshevna, Deputy Mayor of Osh, Kadyrov Nurbek Suyunbaevich, Speechwriter of the Secretariat of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Tamara Nurmamytovna. Also present were vice-rectors of the state language of higher educational institutions, heads of departments, linguists, media representatives, and others. The head of the State Language Department, Rima Zayyrkulova, represented the International Higher School of Medicine at the event.

       Presentations covered the implementation of the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic" in universities. Topics included "The role of the state language in multilingual education," "Some methods of improving student literacy," and "The state of office work in higher educational institutions," along with information about the constitutional law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the State Language" (according to Infodocs). Within the university framework, discussions, questions, and answers from vice-rectors about the results of the work carried out in Kyrgyz Republic universities on the development of the state language, long-term plans, problems, creative work, and the expediency of teaching at language levels took place. The forum concluded with the adoption of a resolution.
