Dear Students and Parents, 

In light of the recent events in Bishkek involving foreign citizens, we make an urgent statement. We are deeply concerned about the incidents that occurred on the night of May 17-18.

We would like to emphasize that the situation is stable and currently under control by the law enforcement agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic. The authorities have taken all necessary measures to ensure security, peace, and stability.  

According to a statement from the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic: “Law enforcement agencies are conducting a thorough investigation of all the circumstances of the offenses that took place. All the perpetrators will be identified and brought to justice in accordance with the law.” 

The administration of the International Higher School of Medicine is also actively monitoring the situation and confirms that none of our students were injured. Security measures have been strengthened at all school facilities, including the Issyk-Kul Regional Campus in Cholpon-Ata, and actions have been taken to prevent possible provocations. Training will temporarily be conducted online.

We will keep you informed of developments and take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our students.
