World Antibiotic Awareness Week

On November 23, an event titled "Preventing Antimicrobial Resistance Together" took place at the Morpho Campus of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) as part of the global week for proper antibiotic use. During a microbiology class, students participated in this event alongside Damira O. Ashyralieva, an expert from the World Health Organization (WHO), who delivered a presentation.

The expert shed light on the current state of the antibiotic usage issue, discussing questions and challenges associated with this topic.

Students actively engaged in a competition, answering questions about antibiotic application for various illnesses. Winners were determined at the end of the event and were awarded commemorative gifts.
This day proved to be engaging, memorable, and informative for both students and faculty members, allowing all participants to gain valuable knowledge and experience in combating antibiotic resistance.
