This time, representatives from all partner universities are gathering at Osh State University for a workshop on the EU Project “The Development of Financial Autonomy of universities in Kyrgyzstan”. Workshop is scheduled from December 5-8, 2023, in a hybrid format in Osh city.

The goals of the workshop are to inform about the progress of implementation and the results obtained during the first year of the project. Additionally, the workshop aims to discuss the adoption of the Strategy for the development of financial autonomy of universities and the adoption of the Roadmap for the implementation of the model of financial autonomy of universities.

On the second day of the workshop, all partner universities made a report for the first year of the DEFA project.  All reports were listened to, accepted, and covered following topics:

• The implementation of the Disseminaton Plan, expectations and further actions (WP5) (DAMFA coordinator)
• The implementation of the Quality Assurance System Plan, expectations and further actions (WP4) (IHSM coordinator)
• The Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development (Sustainability Plan): planning activities, further actions (AU coordinator)

All days of workshop were moderated by DEFA project coordinator N.K. Omurov. The workshop followed by visit to other campuses of the Osh State University and cultural programs.
