An international scientific and practical conference "Innovations in the field of medical science and education" was held dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the International Higher School of Medicine. Within the framework of the conference, the work of the section “Topical issues of teaching languages to foreign students in higher medical educational institutions” was carried out. The section was chaired by Doctor of Philology, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Assoc. Professor Sooronkulov Gulzhigit Umarovich and Doctor of Philology, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor Biyaliev Kutman Abakovich.

Arabaev,  Saydalieva Altynai Tahirovna -  “Teaching the state language to foreign students (on the example of the International University "Ala-Too")" Head of the Department of the Kyrgyz language Ala-Too International University, Also speaking on behalf of our university: Alymkulova Nuriya Nasipkulovna – “Organization of extracurricular activities as a way to develop speech for foreign students”, head of the department of humanities, Buteshova Aizada Raisovna – «Using certain digital platforms for students individual work» candidate of philology, acting Assoc, Buteshova Aizada Raisovna, Zaiyrkulova Rima Zhenishovna – «The problems of comparing the teaching of the epic "Manas" and the epic "Mahabharata" in the discipline "Manastaanuu" in higher educational institutions» Head of the State Language Department, Azhibekova Aziza Arstanbekovna - «Cluster method in Russian as a foreign language lessons» senior lecturer at the Department of Humanities International Higher School of Medicine, Zhumabekova Burul Alymbekovna – «Methods of teaching the Kyrgyz language to foreign students»  lecturer of Issyk-Kul campus International Higher School of Medicine, Zhetimishova Begimai Zhetimishovna – «Preventive radio and telemedicine in the state language»  lecturer of the Department of Propedotherapy and Family Medicine, Turatbek kyzy Zhazgul – «Innovative methods of developing creative skills in teaching the Kyrgyz language to foreign students»  lecturer at the Department of Humanities. Interesting reports were heard from scientists-professors of the above educational institutions and presentations were made on the methodology  of teaching languages to foreign students studying in the medical field and the role of the state language in medicine, methods of comparative teaching of epics in the discipline of Manas Studies.

During the conference, detailed information about the history of the formation of the department of humanities at the IHSM the path traveled, achievements over 20 years, and the problems of teaching foreign students was presented by the head of the department, Nuria Nasipkulovna Alymkulova. The guests also got acquainted with the presentation of the creation of classrooms and classrooms of the department and the works of students. As a result, the comprehensive development of interuniversity scientific and practical cooperation and exchange of experience in language teaching was recommended.
