In order to strengthen cultural relations and familiarize foreign students with the culture, customs and traditions of the Kyrgyz people, the staff of the Department of Basic Disciplines organized  “Nomad Games”. The Department holds competitions on annual basis, usually in spring, in various national games, such as Jooluk tashtamai, Arkan tartuu, Kan talamai, etc. This year, students of the 2nd and 3rd semester prepared the national dance “Kara Zhorgo”.
The “Nomad Games” were successfull. The students were interested, during the preparation they learned a lot about the national games and the culture of the Kyrgyz people.
