The Student Council of ISM on eve of World Tuberculosis Day organised a SEMINAR AND AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON TUBERCULOSIS on 23rd March 2019 at Dean Office, Lecture Hall No. 3.

An important debilitating disease like Tuberculosis need to be addressed and for the same as responsibility of all of us as medical students, the Student Council of ISM found a need to to create awareness regarding this disease so prevention and cure can be taken care of.

The programme commenced with a short informative video prepared by the Student Council of ISM for the World Tuberculosis Day.

Guest Lecturer - Dr. Fyodorova Svetlana Vladimirovna gave a Seminar on Awareness of Tuberculosis in the community mainly focusing on the issues face in Kyrgyzstan.

Then 2 students from India and Pakistan presented some epidemiological facts and statistics, prevention methods, etc. of India and Pakistan respectively.

The Student Council members and some other students performed a skit for the Awareness Programme on TB.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Vice-President of the Council and certificate were presented to the Guest Lecturer and all participants.
