From August 23-27, 2024, the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) hosts a delegation from YI HE XUAN Chinese Traditional Medicine Center, Hainan, the People’s Republic of China. 

The delegation, led by General Director Liu Liyan, was welcomed by Stalbek M. Akhunbaev, IHSM Rector, Ainazik M. Omurzakova, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Ph.D (Law), Gulmira S. Biyalieva, Director of IHSM Medical Clinic VEDANTA, D.Sc. (Medicine), Makhabat K. Karagulova, Head of the International Affairs Department, Ph.D. (Philology), Assos.Prof., and Alibek B. Chukuldukov, Specialist of International Affairs Department. 

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss potential cooperation in integrating technologies with traditional Chinese and Western medicine. During the meeting, IHSM’s achievements and collaborations were discussed, followed by a discussion on the agreement between the two parties. 

The primary focus was on the application of traditional Chinese medicine techniques in the IHSM Medical Clinic VEDANTA-Issyk-Kul. This visit marks a significant step in fostering international partnerships and advancing medical technology exchange between Kyrgyzstan and China.
