The administration of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) extends its heartfelt congratulations to both a distinguished student and a dedicated faculty memebr for their remarkable achievements at the II International Olympiad for students of medical universities. This event, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaev, was held on May 16-17, 2024.  

Usama Abbas, a 6th-semester student at IHSM, demonstrated outstanding knowledge and skill, securing 2nd place in the competition. This significant achievement reflects not only his hard work and dedication but also the excellent guidance and mentorship provided by his supervisor, Ykyval T. Taalaybekova, Department of Fundamental Disciplines of IHSM. 

 The administration proudly acknowledges the commitment and academic excellence of both Usama Abbas and Ykyval T. Taalaybekova.
