DEVELOPMENT OF DOCTORAL STUDIES AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ACTIVITIES OF KYRGYZSTAN
The meeting of a new project “Development of Doctoral Studies and Scientific Research Activities of Kyrgyzstan (DERECKA)" funded by the Erasmus + was held from 1st to 2nd March 2020 at the International University of Kyrgyzstan.
Head of the Public Health Department of International Higher School of Medicine, Associate professor, MD., Ph.D., - Dr. Kenesh Dzhusupov and Dean of Postgraduate Studies, MD – Dr.Aliia Bazhanova participated at the meeting.
The aim of the project is to strengthen research and innovation in Kyrgyzstan through the promotion of doctoral studies that involves six Kyrgyz universities and European universities such as:
International Higher School of Medicine;
Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov,
Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport, and Architecture,
Diplomatic Academy of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic named after K. Dikambaev,
Kyrgyz National Agrarian University,
Osh State University
Universities from London (Great Britain),
Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany),
Vilnius Technical University Gediminas (Lithuania).
For the first time, the Erasmus + project will be implemented under the supervision of the Kyrgyz University - the International University of Kyrgyzstan as a grant holder of the DERECKA project.
The first day of the inaugural meeting was devoted to presentations of partner universities and their doctoral research and describing the activities of work packages.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the dissemination of the project results.
