Exciting Collaboration!
On February 2, 2024 the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) welcomed Prof. Tom Schaal and Tim Tischendorf from the West-Saxon University (Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau (WHZ) of Applied Sciences, Germany.
Purpose of the Meeting:
IHSM and WHZ are exploring a partnership to establish a dual-degree program in «Health Care Management» at the master’s level.
Proposed Collaborations:
- Student Exchanges: Opportunities for students to study abroad, gaining exposure to diverse teaching methods, cultures, and healthcare systems.
- Research Collaborations: Faculty from both institutions combining expertise to address healthcare challenges and advance medical knowledge.
- Networking Opportunities: Connecting students and faculty with global peers and experts through events like the DAAD Alumni Week organized by WHZ.
- Cultural Exchange: Fostering cross-cultural understanding among students and faculty to enrich their educational experience.
