On 17th December 2021, Vice-Dean and Chairman of the professional union committee – Mukambetova Jypara Kaldybaevna and Head of the Deparmtnet of State Language – Zairkulova Rimma Zhenishbekovna with the “Sensation” cultural and musical group visited the morning  program “Zamana” of the Public TV and Radio Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic. 

During the program, our representatives showed a cultural performances and told about the festival of Kyrgyz songs and dances performed by foreign students  that was conducted at the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Maldybaev being organized by the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) on 14th December 2021.

The festival was dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the Law on the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic.

There were eight teams of different Higher Education Institutions that took part in the festival, where the following teams got the below top places:

◾Grand Prix - IHSM.

◾1st place - Osh State University.

◾2nd place - Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov and Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. Akhunbaev.

◾3rd place - Salymbekov University, Bishkek State University named after K. Karasaev, International University of Kyrgyzstan.

 ◾Audience award - Ala-Too International University.

The transition cup was handed over to the team of Osh State University for taking 1st place, which means that the next festival will be held in Osh city.
The aim of the festival is to make an event a tradition, popularizing the Kyrgyz language and culture.
