LEADING KYRGYZSTAN TOWARDS A HEALTHIER TOMORROW

Asian Medical Student Association - Kyrgyzstan (AMSA - KG) conducted the inter-university competition “THE HEALERS” on 12th December 2022 at the Clinical Simulation Center of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), strengthening the bonds between medical students of different universities and to enhance the students’ interests and skills.

The Inter university event competed the students from 8 universities on the basis of clinical skills, moreover, it tested  ECG and Radiological image interpretation, CPR, Percussion, Palpation, Auscultation etc.

The following universities participated in the competition:

▪️International School of Medicine - International University of Kyrgyzstan (ISM - IUK),
▪️International Medical University (IMU),
▪️Eurasian International University,
▪️Ala-Too International University,
▪️Avicenna International Medical University,
▪️Salymbekov Medical University,
▪️I.K.Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy.

According to the results the following teams were found winners being awarded trophies, medals and winning certificates.
 
GRAND PRIZE - Eurasian International University

FIRST PLACE - International Higher School of Medicine

SECOND PLACE - International Medical University
 
THIRD PLACE - Kyrgyz State Medical University
 
The IHSM souvenirs and participant certificates were given to each student as an attribute of appreciation. 
In addition to that, the members of the supporting team – the Student Council of the IHSM and members of the AMSA-KG were awarded an Appreciation Letter for their hard work in organizing the event.
