On 14th December 2021, international festival of Kyrgyz songs and dances performed by foreign students was conducted at the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Maldybaev being organized by the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) . 

The festival was dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the Law on the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic.

There were eight teams of different Higher Education Institutions that took part in the festival. 

Administration of the IHSM congratulates the following teams for getting top places: 

- Grand Prix - IHSM.

- 1st place - Osh State University. 

- 2nd place - Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov and Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. Akhunbaev.

- 3rd place -  Salymbekov University, Bishkek State University named after K. Karasaev, International University of Kyrgyzstan.

- Audience award - Ala-Too International University.

The transition cup was handed over to the team of Osh State University for taking 1st place, which means that the next festival will be held in Osh city. 
The aim of the festival is to make an event a tradition, popularizing the Kyrgyz language and culture. 

All participants  got a lot of positive emotions, as the festival was held in an atmosphere of joy and support for each other, moreover, foreign students – spectators,  got acquainted with the culture of the Kyrgyz folk costumes and dances. 

All the teams worthily represented their educational institutions and  their performances were highly appreciated by the organizers.
