Three cases of coronavirus infection have been registered to date in the Kyrgyz Republic, (Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region), which is located 500 km from Bishkek.
The following measures for the prevention of viral infections, as well as Covid-19, are being conducted by IHSM:
1. A headquarter has been set up to organize measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of employees, as well as students of IHSM that are being led by the following members: Akhunbaev S.M. - Head of Staff, Usenova A.A. - Deputy Head, Davletbaev R.M., Chyngyshpaev D.Sh., Phani Potu, Satarkulova A.M., Omurzakova A.M., Kochekbaev U.A., Sunil Yadav., Imran Nazir.
2. A distance learning plan has been drawn up for the period of premature vacations from March 16 to April 8, 2020, based on the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 282/1 dated March 14, 2020. All the necessary training materials and links were distributed to students of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM) for online learning.
3. Sanitary-educational and preventive work with students are being conducted.
4. Faculty members of departments are assigned to the hostels of the IHSM for preventive, explanatory works with the students.
5. Disinfectants, bactericidal and ultraviolet lamps, medical masks were purchased for all the hostels and campuses of IHSM.
6. Awareness-raising works among students, their parents and other interested parties are being conducted at the official website, social networks of IHSM.
7. Unauthorized people are prohibited to visit the dormitories of the IHSM for safety reasons.
During the quarantine time, the administration of IHSM strictly forbids the students to go outside, exclusively in the case of an emergency.
Stay at your hostels, flats and follow all the preventive measures.
