On December 20, 2021, a physics Olympiad for students of the 1st semester was held at the Natural Sciences Department. The organizers of the Olympiad were physics teachers of the Natural Sciences Department: associate professor Amanbaeva G.M., teacher Baidzhuranova A.M, associate professor Ismailova Ch.S.,. 5 teams of 5 students took part in the Olympiad.

The main goal of the Olympiad was:
    Identification of talented students interested in physics;
    Development of interest in Medical Physics among the participants of the Olympiad;
    Providing the participants of the Olympiad with the opportunity to compete on a scale that goes beyond the region without leaving it;
 

The Olympiad consisted of following parts:
1. Presentation of teams;
2. Biophysics test
3. Laboratory work
4. Recognition of Medical equipment by photo
5. Poster “Physics in medicine” 
At the beginning of the Olympiad, the teams made short presentations about themselves. During the second part, questions were answered. In the third part, students carried out laboratory work and solved a problem in biomechanics. In the fourth part, students found the name of medical equipment and their relationship with physics. At the end of the Olympiad, the students presented a poster "Physics in Medicine".  All students showed good theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
