Scientists of the Central Asia visited European Union

Vice head of Natural Sciences Disciplines Department of the International Higher School of Medicine, Ph.D.(Biology), Assoc. Professor Cholpon A. Aitkeeva with the faculty members and administration of seven Central Asian universities are taking part  in the professional development program "Academic and Scientific Diplomacy. 

The role of education and its contribution to the development of skills in demand in the labor market" organized by "Modern Education & Research Institute (MERI)" and "Free University of Brussels" (VUB).

The purpose of the visit of the Central Asian delegation to the European Union is to popularize the scientific achievements of their countries.

Interacting with European colleagues on various scientific issues, scientists enter into consortiums and attract European funding for the implementation of joint projects in their universities.

During the visit, the scientists listened to lectures on the topic of the educational program at the universities of Belgium and France. 

In addition to that,  they visited the official representations of their countries in the EU - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, as well as the representations in the EU for science and innovation of the Czech Republic and Lithuania.
