Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Ph.D. -  Ainazik Omurzakova and Head of the International Affairs Department of the IHSM - Zarema Kolkombaeva took part in the seminar "International accreditation - a tool to improve the quality of education" on May 20, 2022, at I. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy. 

The seminar was organized by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) and  Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. 

The purpose of the international seminar was to present the IAAR international accreditation methodology, consider approaches to the use of tools for external assessment of the quality of educational services within the framework of international institutional as well as program accreditation, and discuss the basic principles of quality assurance at the university.

The seminar was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, accredited experts and representatives of different universities.

Recall, the IHSM has been accredited for 5 years on 28.01.2022 by the Independent Agency For Accreditation And Rating (IAAR).

The IAAR is registered in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education EQAR and is a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education ( ENQA), moreover, it is the first organization from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries recognized by  World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) .
