In order to prepare students for a future occupation in accordance with personal inclinations, interests, abilities, and at the same time with public needs for personnel of certain occupation  and different levels of qualification, the staff of the PG studies deanery and Support service department of the  IHSM organized the event “Vocational orientation at IHSM” for students of 9th and 10th semesters. The event was attended by those responsible for the programs of clinical residency and master's degree from the graduating departments:

1. Propaedeutic therapy and family medicine
2. Therapy
3. Pediatrics
4. Obstetrics and gynecology
5. Surgical diseases
6. Special surgical disciplines
7. Public health

The event was also attended by clinical residents Yadav Manoj (Specialty: Traumatology and Orthopedics) and Mehta Gursehaj Singh (Specialty: Surgery) who shared their experience of training in clinical residency and master’s program.
The event “Vocational orientation at IHSM” was conducted successfully. During the meeting, students of the senior semesters of IHSM realized the opportunity to ask their questions to representatives of the graduating departments for clinical residency and master's programs.

Purpose of the Vocational orientation program:

Formation of a high-quality contingent of students for preparing professional and qualified medical specialists, taking into account the needs of employers, assistance in professional self-determination, formation, social and psychological adaptation and further work in the chosen specialty.
