Interactive lesson “Cardiac cycle”

On March 17, 2022, at the Department of Basic Disciplines, the teacher Taalaibekova Y.T. conducted an open lesson "Cardiac cycle" based on the results of a training seminar on active learning methods, using the interactive team based learning method (TBL) and the active method – brain storm in the group 26 of the 2nd semester.


The purpose of the lesson: to orient students to activation, formation  reflection and receiving feedback.

 


To achieve the goal of the lesson, the following tasks were set:


1. Consolidate knowledge on the structural features of the heart
2. Deepen and generalize knowledge about the causes of heart indefatigability, stages of the cardiac cycle and their characteristics
3. Teach the students to resolve problems using the knowledge about the cardiac cycle
4. Show the relationship between the structure and functions of the heart.

 

All the teachers of the Department of Basic Disciplines and students of the 2nd semester were invited.
The open lesson was conducted successfully; new ways of presenting the material were used. The lesson was built on the principle: student-student orientation.
